The Ezra Arthur 2.5" English Bridle Leather Strop is a handmade premium strop crafted in Phoenix, Arizona. English bridle leather on one side for excellent stropping, 100% cotton linen canvas on the other for drying and polishing — with a modular design that allows worn components to be replaced rather than the whole strop.

Ezra Arthur's 2.5" strop is built to last — and designed so that it doesn't have to be replaced when it eventually wears. English bridle leather is one of the most durable and consistent stropping surfaces available, offering a moderate draw that suits most straight razor shavers. The 100% cotton linen canvas on the reverse is used to dry and polish the blade between leather strokes and after strop paste application. The modular construction uses solid brass screws throughout, allowing either the leather or canvas side to be independently disassembled and replaced when worn. Handmade in Phoenix, Arizona.

How to Use: Secure the strop by the hook and hold the bottom ring taut. With the spine leading, draw the blade heel to toe along the leather in a smooth, even stroke. Flip spine over spine and return. Finish with passes on the canvas side. Repeat 15 to 20 times before each shave.
