Muhle has been making safety razors in Germany since 1945. The R41 Grande Chrome shares the highly aggressive open comb head of the standard R41 — direct, vigorous blade exposure delivering exceptional closeness on coarse or dense stubble — mounted on a longer, wider corrugated handle for a more substantial grip. At 107mm and 84g it carries more presence in the hand than the standard R41 without the additional weight of the stainless R41GS.

Like all R41 variants, this razor is firmly for experienced shavers. Good technique is rewarded with one of the closest wet shaves available.
