Description
O'Douds handmakes its vegan, cruelty-free grooming range in its own lab in Houston, Texas, scenting every product with essential oils, absolutes and plant extracts rather than synthetic fragrance. Matte Paste adds life and lift for styles from short and choppy to loose, textured and voluminous, holding its shape all day while still moving.
A blend of water, kaolin clay, waxes and oils gives it a creamy consistency that rinses out easily. Applied to completely dry hair it gives the most consistent hold and matte finish; on slightly damp hair it applies more easily with less volume. A little worked into a deflated medium or long style brings back lift without weighing it down. The scent balances sweet, sappy labdanum with bright lime.
How to Use: Spread a smooth, thin layer across your palms without pressing or overworking it, as the product absorbs into your hands if worked too hard. Apply to dry hair for volume and grip, or to damp hair for looser, more natural styles. Blow-dry for extra volume.
