The Rockwell 6S Matte Black is a 3-piece adjustable safety razor machined from 316L marine-grade stainless steel with a black-coated finish. Three reversible base plates give six blade gap settings, so you can set the shave to suit your beard and skin, from mild to aggressive.

Rockwell designed the 6S around a simple point: shavers differ, and one fixed blade gap can't suit everyone. Three reversible base plates provide six settings, from R1 (mild) through R6 (aggressive). To change setting, loosen the handle, flip or swap the plate, and tighten again.

The black-coated 316L stainless steel gives the 6S a distinctive look on the shelf and a solid, weighty feel at 118g. The knurled handle holds grip with wet hands, and the open head slots rinse cleanly mid-shave.

Start at R1 and move up one setting at a time until you find the gap that suits your beard and skin.
