The 45-blade sampler builds on the 25-blade selection with two well-known additions, Feather and Merkur, with 10 blades of each.

Feather Hi-Stainless is the sharpest blade in our range. It delivers a very close shave but rewards good technique, so it suits experienced shavers or those with coarser hair. Merkur Super Platinum is a medium blade, made from Swedish Sandvik steel with platinum and Teflon coated edges, and a smooth, consistent all-rounder.

The core five cover the rest of the range, from mild Derby and Parker through Henson RK and Wilkinson in the middle to the sharper Astra. With 45 blades across seven brands, you have enough to test each one across multiple shaves before settling on a favourite.
