The details
Hold
Strong hold that washes out
Most strong clays buy their grip with a base that won't rinse. Super Clay uses kaolin and bentonite for the hold and a water-soluble base underneath, so it grips all day and still washes out with a normal shampoo.
Ingredients
Kaolin and bentonite
Kaolin absorbs excess oil and keeps the finish matte. Bentonite adds body and grip at the root, so the hold comes from texture rather than stiffness. A moisturising base underneath keeps hair from drying out with daily use.
Styles
Built for short to medium hair
Textured crops, tight side parts, messy quiffs and anything that needs to stay where you put it. Warm it well between the palms and it distributes evenly; rework it later with dry fingers without adding more.

A fingertip's worth for short hair, a little more for medium. It's strong, so start small and warm it thoroughly between the palms; cold clay clumps.
Is it too strong for everyday use?
No. It's strong hold but stays pliable, so it doesn't set hard like a gel. If you want something lighter for daily wear, the Clay Pomade is the same clay base with medium hold.
Will it wash out cleanly?
Yes. The water-soluble base rinses out with a normal shampoo. It's easier to wash out than most strong clays, though a second lather helps if you've used a lot.
What does it smell like?
