Description
Feather is Japan's most celebrated razor blade manufacturer, and the Hi-Stainless is their flagship DE blade. The platinum coating reduces drag and protects against corrosion, while the hi-stainless steel edge holds its sharpness across an impressive number of shaves — most shavers get between 5 and 10 per blade depending on hair coarseness and technique.
The sharpness that makes Feather exceptional also makes it less forgiving than most. It rewards a light touch and good angle control. If you're new to DE shaving, start with a more forgiving blade like Astra or Derby and work your way up. Once you're ready, Feather is the gold standard.
How to Use: Load into your safety razor and shave with light pressure, letting the razor do the work. Rinse thoroughly after each use — never wipe the blade, as this causes premature dulling.
