HJM nom produce their shaving brushes in Germany using synthetic fibres known for their firmness and durability. The 21mm knot holds a good amount of water and releases it steadily as you build lather, making it particularly well suited to firm soaps. The slightly stiffer bristle action provides a gentle massaging and exfoliating effect on the skin as you work the lather in — a different sensation to softer natural hair brushes, but one that many wet shavers actively prefer. The faux tortoiseshell resin handle is solid and sits comfortably in the palm. Low maintenance, fast-drying and consistent from the first use to the last.

How to Use: Soak the bristles in warm water for 30 seconds and shake off the excess. Load on your soap or cream, then work into a lather directly on the face or in a bowl. Rinse thoroughly after use and store bristles-down to dry.
