It is lighter and drier than their clay-based Matte Pomade: a soft paste that spreads easily, adds separation and texture without stiffness or shine, and builds from a natural finish to more hold as you use more. Rated three out of five for hold and one out of five for shine on King Brown's own scale, it suits anyone after a lived-in, natural look rather than a slicked or structured one. The water base means it removes completely with water, so there is no build-up between washes. The scent comes from bitter orange peel and cinnamon bark oils warmed with balsam Peru, vanillin and caramel: citrus up front, smoky and sweet underneath.

How to Use: Work a fingertip-sized amount between your hands and apply to dry or slightly damp hair, starting at the back and working forward and side to side so every strand is coated root to end. Use more for extra hold, defined part lines or taming flyaways. Removes fully with water.
