Morgan's has made gradual hair darkeners since 1873, first in London and now at its own factory in Whitstable, Kent, and the cream is the easiest of the range to use. Bismuth citrate darkens grey hair a little with each application, so the change is gradual and natural-looking rather than sudden. Apply daily for up to four weeks until you reach the shade you want, then reduce the frequency to maintain it. Morgan's tip: the process works faster in warm sunlight or with a hairdryer.
