Description
Parker has been making safety razors as a family business since 1973, and the Flight is their take on the modern heavyweight. Solid brass gives it real heft in the hand, so the razor's own weight provides the cutting pressure and you only need to guide it. That makes a light touch come naturally, which is most of the battle in avoiding nicks and irritation.
The head is set up to be forgiving: a 0.60mm blade gap with just +0.015mm of exposure gives a mild, smooth shave, and the slim 7.2mm profile makes it easy to work around the nose, lip and jawline. The antique brass plating is applied by hand, so the grain and tone vary slightly from razor to razor and the finish develops character with use. If you prefer a razor you can barely feel, the Parker AeroShave is the featherweight alternative at 39g.
Blades are not included. Pair it with Parker Premium Platinum Double Edge Razor Blades to get started.
How to Use: Unscrew the handle, place a double edge blade between the cap and the safety bar plate, and screw the handle back on firmly. Hold the razor at around 45 degrees to the skin, let the weight of the razor do the work, and shave with the grain in short, light strokes. Rinse and dry after use.
