Proraso Sandalwood & Shea Butter Nourish Shaving Soap is the Proraso Red shaving soap for coarse beards, in a 150ml jar for use with a brush. Shea butter moisturises and sandalwood oil adds warm fragrance, helping soften thick, coarse beards for an easier shave.

The Red line is Proraso's range for coarse beards. Enriched with sandalwood oil and shea butter, this soap protects even the driest skin against the razor, making thick, hard beards easier to shave.

Proraso makes its jar soaps in small batches by hot saponification, then leaves them in steel containers for 10 to 15 days to mature to the right moisture, structure and fragrance. Proraso says this slow process makes the soap more effective at protecting the skin and helping the razor glide.

How to Use: Dampen your shaving brush and work it over the soap in circular motions until a soft, compact lather forms, then apply to the beard and shave. Close the jar after use to stop the soap drying out; Proraso notes it keeps its properties even if it does.
