Ralf Aust produces every straight razor himself in Solingen, Germany. The Natural Horn version of the 6/8" features the same extra hard carbon steel full hollow blade as the African Blackwood model, paired with premium natural horn scales and a decorative engraved blade spine. Horn is a naturally varied material — no two scales are alike in colour or pattern, making each razor genuinely unique.

The 6/8" blade offers a wider shaving surface than the 5/8", carrying slightly more weight and covering more ground per stroke. As with all carbon steel straight razors, rinse with warm water after shaving, dry carefully without touching the cutting edge, and store open to allow complete drying. Apply acid-free oil for extended storage — allow at least 48 hours between shaves for the edge to realign.
