The Rockwell SETPOINT Safety Razor puts the full blade gap range on a single dial, from a gentle 0.30mm to an aggressive 1.10mm, adjustable mid-shave. CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium in a raw silver finish, it pairs a solid two-piece head with a lightweight 42g build.

Most safety razors give you one blade gap for your whole face and every day's growth. SETPOINT runs a continuous dial from setting 1 (0.30mm) to setting 6 (1.10mm), with no clicks or preset stops in between. Dial down for the neck and sensitive areas, dial up for the cheeks, jawline or a few days of stubble, all without putting the razor down.

It pairs the solid head of Rockwell's 6S with the adjustment dial of the T2. There are no butterfly doors or hinges: the head is a top cap and a body, so the blade stays clamped flat and rigid wherever the dial sits. Rockwell machines it to a tolerance of ±0.01mm.

This silver version is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium and left raw. At 42g it is light and quick in the hand, which suits shavers who prefer a lighter razor and minimal pressure. As a guide, settings 1 to 2 suit the neck and sensitive skin, 3 to 4 a day or two of growth, and 5 to 6 three days to a week of growth.

To load, twist the knob at the base of the handle to release the top cap, lay a blade on the cap, set it back on the body and turn the knob until it locks. Start low and work up until you find your setting. Keep a supply of Rockwell Double Edge Blades (100), and retire used blades into the Rockwell Blade Safe Disposal Case.
