Taylor of Old Bond Street's alum block is made from potassium alum, and works as an antiseptic as well as an astringent to soothe irritation and seal any small cuts obtained during shaving. It is unscented, so it sits under any aftershave.
How to Use: After shaving, rinse with cold water. Wet the block and glide it over the shaved area, or hold it briefly against any small nick. Rinse the block and let it dry before storing. Avoid contact with the eyes.
